By downloading, installing, or using the Alive application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Ramesh ("Developer", "we", "us"). The App is developed and maintained by an independent developer and is not affiliated with Apple Inc.

The App is designed for personal, non-commercial use only.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have parental or guardian consent to use the App.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use the App on an Apple device you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

The App allows you to write and save your own quotes. You retain ownership of any content you create. By saving content in the App, you confirm that it is lawful, appropriate, and does not infringe any third-party rights. All user-generated content is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to us or any third party.
Motivational Quotes: Quotes sourced via the ZenQuotes API are the intellectual property of their respective authors. They are provided under ZenQuotes' free tier for non-commercial use. We make no claim of ownership over these quotes.
Ambient Audio: Audio tracks are streamed from Pixabay and are licensed under the Pixabay Content Licence (CC0 or similar permissive licence). We do not host these audio files. Your device connects directly to Pixabay's servers to stream them.
Kindness Tasks: Good Todo tasks are suggestions only. They are not instructions, professional advice (mental health, medical, legal, or otherwise), or guarantees of any outcome. You perform any kindness task entirely at your own discretion and risk.
All original content in the App — including but not limited to the App's name ("Alive"), design, graphics, UI components, achievement system, and underlying code — is owned by the Developer and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Third-party content (quotes, audio) remains the property of its respective owners.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (which is zero, as the App is free).
Alive is a well-being lifestyle app, not a medical device, mental health service, or professional therapeutic tool. The quotes, sounds, and kindness tasks are intended for general personal enrichment only. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified healthcare professional or a crisis helpline in your country.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the App.
We may release updates to the App from time to time. Updates may change or remove features. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle (or rather, do not collect) your data. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into and forms part of these Terms.
These Terms are between you and the Developer only — not Apple Inc. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the App. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price (if any); Apple has no further warranty obligation with respect to the App. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Developer is based, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, stop using the App.
